Widia Rapid Change Tap Adapters RC Series are optimized for versatile use on high-performance internal thread hole making or tapping. The RC Series range tool adapters of high precision tapping from Widia promise an affordable cost of cutting for various size of Metric DIN and ISO designs (M0 to M33). Depends on your type of material, the micro boring bar is suitable for both manual machining on drilling and turning machine and automatic CNC machine as well.
These pinpoint series are also available with 4 different spec to choose from; the RC Type which is applicable for upto M14 or 9/16 UNC/UNF, the RC1 Type which is applicable for upto #0 - 9/16, and the RC2 type which is made specifically for 5/16 - 7/8 of regular HSS material and RC3 type for gripping M36 size and upto 1 - 11.5 NPT.
