Since 1963, MIRUC OPTICAL CO.,LTD. have been manufacturing optical peripheral and special equipment to cater both research and industrial needs of visual magnification with measurement capabilities in Japan. 

At magnifications higher than 100× moving a slide by hand is not practical. A mechanical stage, typical of medium and higher priced microscopes, allows precision movements of the slide via control knobs that reposition the sample/slide as desired. If your microscope did not originally have a mechanical stage it may be possible to add Miruc Gate Turning Stage RC Series. Miruc Gate Turning Stage RC Series are designed with rotational function, Thin XY design and adaptibility as a tilt stage. Combination with various Miruc dovetail stage adds gate turning functionality to straight forward sliding, enabling positioning from any angle. 

Miruc Gate Turning Stage RC Series are fabricated with durable aluminium alloy and matt black alumite surface treatment for your durable application and high precision tuning. with its spherical configuration of the main moving parts allows operation that was not possible with conventional stage. The unique concept of RC stage features maximum 180° bending and 360° rotation, allowing complete flexibility in positioning. Miruc Gate turning stage allows free tuning and free tilting movement which helps operator to apply this stage to mount microscope as well as a object clamping in mould making industry, micro machining, mechatronics and many more.

Notes:

Focusing starts at lower magnification in order to center the specimen by the user on the stage. Moving to a higher magnification requires the stage to be moved higher vertically for re-focus at the higher magnification and may also require slight horizontal specimen position adjustment or even tilting the microscope viewing angle. Horizontal specimen position adjustments are the reason for having a Miruc Gate Turning Stage RC Series .
