DeFelsko Bresle Method Patch

DeFelsko offers 3 patch options that are ideal for testing in accordance with the Bresle method, designed for use with the DeFelsko PosiTector SST.

 

1. DeFelsko PosiPatch

Reusable Bresle patch with Standard or Flexible magnetic ring — lowest per test cost

For measuring salt contamination in accordance with ISO 8502-6,9 — the Bresle Method

• Magnetic ring attaches to steel with no residue to clean
  - Standard magnetic ring for flat surfaces and diameters > 1 m (40 in.)
  - Flexible magnetic ring for ID/OD diameters > 10 cm (4 in.)†

Five PosiPatches are included with all PosiTector SST PosiPatch Kits. These kits include everything required to begin measuring with the innovative PosiPatch. While they are reusable, PosiPatches may eventually wear out or become dirty after extensive testing. Replacement PosiPatches are also available:

2. DeFelsko Adhesive Patch

Self-adhesive polyurethane Bresle test patch

• For measuring salt contamination in accordance with ISO 8502-6,9
• Low-tack adhesive for easy patch removal with no residue to clean
• Works on nearly any material or surface geometry

• Lower cost than latex patch
• Easy-to-use in any orientation

3. Latex Adhesive Patch

Latex Bresle Test patch with easy-open tabs and low-tack adhesive for easy removal.

For users who require a salts test patch with latex construction (which can expand to a 15 ml sample size), we offer the Latex Bresle Test Patch. It also features a low-tack adhesive and TearGuard™ technology for easy patch removal that leaves no residue to clean. Additionally, it features an easy-to-remove tab on the paper backing.
