Widia End Mill SuperFeed Clapp-DiCo™ SPF Series is known as a PCD endmill (Polycrystalline Diamond) cutter for alloyed and non ferrous metal removal on general metalworking with CNC automated and semi-auto milling. After acqusition of Clapp-DiCo™, Widia can now offer SuperFeed Face Mills with ø 25mm - 50mm. Thanks to its through coolant channel, you can have both optimal swarf evacuation and excellent surface finish with highly consistent qualities on machining profile, plunging and chamfer milling application.
 
Your smart investment on Widia SuperFeed PCD endmill will allow you to deliver maximum depth of cut 6,35mm (can be more or less depending on the cartridge, machine set up and consistency of your material). Side milling can also be performed by its lead angle of 90° Indexes per insert and 1 edge per PCD cartridge. Furthermore, Widia's SuperFeed insert Offering are SDR/EDR Corner Radii SDR 0,8mm and 2,36mm, EDR 0,8mm with WIDIA Grade WDN00U Ultra fine grain PCD, Axial DOC SDR 6,35mm max and EDR 6,35mm max.
 
Widia's best selling design which derived from Clapp-DiCo™ are devised to help you working with non-ferrous materials such as aluminium, abrasive metals and alloyed metal at 7.0 Nm of force on 35800 rpm of cutting speed. The improved SuperFeed by Widia offers multiple cutting edges per insert, which all perform at higher speeds and feeds while achieving lower power consumption due to superior design versus other double-sided platforms available.

Widia End Mill SuperFeed Clapp-DiCo™ SPF features:

  • Anodised aluminium cutter bodies with DovLok PCD cartridge design for user-friendly axial adjustment range from .012-.030" (0,3-0,8mm).
  • Multi purpose end mill for machining profile, plunging and chamfer milling application with 90° selectable insert grades for all materials.
  • Through coolant capability for optimal swarf evacuation and excellent surface finish.
  • +/- 3 micron axial adjustment range.
  • Balanced design ø 25mm - 50mm with maximum depth of cut 6,35mm, also available with face mill series
  • Easy setup with Torx key and in a simple system design comparable to conventional cutter.
  • Modified standards available.
  • Insert Offering are SDR/EDR Corner Radii SDR 0,8mm and 2,36mm, EDR 0,8mm with WIDIA Grade WDN00U Ultra fine grain PCD (Polycrystalline Diamond).
