ILIX Multi DTM 6940 is devised as a innovative approach for threading with ISO metric standard within 4H-6H 6G tolerance. Made from the finest HSS-Co-PM (sintered) material for a 1.5 times higher cutting life compared to regular HSS Cobalt 5% (High speed steel powdered material). The thread cutters were coated with TiN for heat endurance and better chips extraction of material with tensile strength up to 800 N/mm². Furthermore, the flutes designed with internal cooling of DIN 13 standard, will offer you an improved accuracy within ISO metric coarse thread as per DIN 371.
Your investment on ILIX's range of Thread Milling Cutter willl allow you to have both high precision result within a much economical cost. Thanks to its axial internal cooling feature, you can threads on various grade of aluminum, alloy steel or soft metals as well on any cut where you need the chips to clear out fast and easy. ILIX Multi Rapid HD 6750 produces higher toughness and aggresive metal removal needed on working on high speed, while maintaining lower temperature thanks to its multi channel of internal cooling channel.
There are 2 models to choose from, the ILIX 6750 Multi Rapid HD with pointy tip without flutes for direct application and regular ILIX 6755 Multi HD with 40° angle on its flutes (See tech details for specific sizes).
