ILIX 6279 is a countersinks bit is designed with 3 flutes and Morse taper shank. Made of HSS relieved with the tipping point of 90°, ILIX 6279 allows better deburring qualities for chatter free operation. ILIX 6279 are made to conform with DIN 335 D standard for higher toughness and hardness. Depends on your material selection and cuting speed, you can chamfers varous workpiece made of steels with a tensile strength up to 1.300 N/mm2, cast steel, grey cast iron, malleable cast iron, nickel brass and graphite. ILIX countersinks are also available with straight shank model which conform to DIN 335 C.
