The Bowers XT500 large diameter 3-point bore-gauge is designed by Bowers together with Sylvac for optimized measurement of internal diameters anywhere in between 300 to 500mm. Improved with newly designed constant-force digital readout, Bowers 3-point Bore-Gauge XT500 ensures that the measuring pressure remains constant within 15 µm of accuracy throughout the measurement whilst radiussed measuring anvils provide optimum centralisation in the part.
This clever 3-point pivotal design along with IP67 certified electronics, particularly suited when measuring bores, tube, grooves or pipes with 3 µm repetitive accuracy in any angle whether vertical, horizontal or angular inspection on your industrial floor. Furthermore, the Bluetooth technology embedded in the electronics allow you to record the measurement data neatly on spreadsheet software and smartphones within 20 meter of radius.
Bowers 3-point Bore-Gauge XT500 have sets of sensitive anvil which are supplied in 25mm steps (300-325, 325-350 etc). Each Bowers 3-point Bore-Gauge XT500 anvil set has been manufactured to the exact toleranced size. The 300-325mm anvils are the master reference set and are used for setting the gauge in the setting ring. The other anvil sets are then fitted as required without further re-setting. This means that Bowers 3-point Bore-Gauge XT500 only need one 300mm setting ring required to set the gauge for all diameters in the full 300-500mm range of the instrument.
