Widia Indexable Chamfer Mills M25™ Series are optimized for fine finishing of rounded cutting of hard materials. The highly economical tool are offered with 3 different types of shank holder; Weldon type, Shell type and regular straight shank type. Furthermore, the indexable insert features a much robust application for deburring the edges of your workpiece or even for bevelling steel with seamless results.

Your investment on Widia Indexable Chamfer Mills M25™ Series, will allow you to run a very economic application as the indexable features allow for easy replacement of insert. When compared to countersinks, on a cnc machining the chamfer bit can perform better, however if you are using a manual mill with a vertical milling machine, it will bite more aggresively due to its geometrical design. Depending on the countersink tool you can get away with using them as a chamfer mill but they are not designed to work that way and generally don't work very well for this.

The Widia Indexable Arbor Mount M900 Series remove from the groove efficiently with better finish. Depends on your selection of tooling, this highly econonomic cutter are offered with 3 diferent grade of materials:

  • TN7525: Coated carbide grade TN7525 has an MT-CVD-TiN-TiCN-Al203-TiN coating. Engineered for light and medium machining of all steels and nodular cast irons such as ductile cast iron, spheroidal graphite iron, spheroidal graphite cast iron and SG iron.
  • TN450: Coated carbide grade with CVD-TiN-TiCN-TiN multi-layer coating. Engineered for general and heavy machining on all types of steel and nodular cast iron with coolant and extremely tough grade, resistant to changes in temperature
  • TN5515: Coated carbide grade TN5515 has an MT-CVD-TiN-TiCN-Al203 coating. Engineered for a balanced toughness and wear ratio. Ideal for light to medium machining of all cast irons.
