Plug Gauges
Plug gauges are used to check the inside diameters of parts. They are cylindrical in shape and come in a pair, Go and No-Go. One of them has a dimension at the maximum limit, the other is at a minimum limit. This is according to the size of the hole the gauge is to inspect. The plug gauge will ensure the interchangeability of engagement between the hole and the shaft.
Ring Gauges
Ojiyas ring gauge is made with thermally stable material (SKS31) with the inside diameter finished to gauge tolerance. You can use the ring gauge for checking the external diameter of a cylindrical object. Ojiyas ring gauges are perfect to be used for comparative gauging as well as for checking, calibrating, setting of gauges or other standards. We are also able to supply master ring gauges, also known as setting ring gauges. Master ring gauges are used for setting and calibration of instruments like cylinder gauges, bore gauges and air gauges.

Thread Gauges - Thread Plug Gauge & Thread Ring Gauge
Thread gauges are used to check the dimensions of a manufactured part’s thread form angle, pitch, and diameter. Thread gauges can come in plug and ring form. Thread plug gages are used to check tolerances of internal threaded (tapped) holes of parts according to a prescribed specification. On the other hand, thread ring gauges are metrology tools that are used for gauging the outer diameters of pins, shafts, splines, fasteners, dowels, studs, and other machined cylindrical parts. Ojiyas thread gauges are fabricated from a stable material (SKS31) with a highly precise (remarkably high tolerance) thread that functions as the gauge for parts. Snap Gauges
A snap gauge is also another type of a Go- and No-Go gauge. It is a limit gauge with permanently fixed measurement aperture(s) (gaps) which is used to quickly verify whether an outside dimension of a part matches a specific dimension or falls within predefined tolerances. Ojiyas snap gauges are available in assorted sizes of C-type, single-ended, double-ended. These snap gauges are affordable and crafted with polished finish to provide lesser friction for Go/No-Go testing.
